Hello Everybody,here is Marta Petrucci I am a 24 years old photographer and set designer.
My life is now divided between Rome and Los Angeles where I am studying.
Since I was a child I dreamt to become an artist, and this is still my main goal! Photography has been my fondness as long I can remember ,but I'm in constant research of a completeness between what you can imagine and what you can realize mixing different artistic means.
Furthermore I think that all the Arts are connected especially figurative art with music that together can break all the distances.
I always loved music and my life is full of it,and she (music) guides me and my emotions through all my works. |
Musical Influences:
Toto,Iron Maiden, Metallica, Faun,The Gathering,Whiskey Trail,Bjork,In flames ,Dark Tranquility, Blind Guardian,Angra,Anathema,De Andre,Battiato and Bach.
I like:
cats(not the musical ahaah!),traveling and shooting with my camera,talking and eating good food with friends,fruit markets,sushi,colors,the sea,being in a cozy house when outside its raining,stripes, artistic shows,Finland,the snow,painting while I m listening always the same song:)spending time with a special person for me.
I don’t like:
Fast food and fake people.. |

Marta & TOTO:
Some years ago my best friend Daniela coming back from a concert of Toto,sent me a message telling me she saw the most amazing band of the wold.I was surprised about that and she suddenly gave me 2 TOTO cds for present.
I was so curious, I played them immediately and ....wow
First I discovered to be their fan before knowing their name...cause since I was a child I was in love with "Africa" and also that now that I can understand also the meaning of the lyrics I love it much more!
  
their music,is now part of my play list in my computer quite everyday,and that gives me so much energy!

Marta & IV TOTO:
My collaboration in this project is totally fortuitous!
In fact everything began the night of Nathalie(a friend of mine)concert in Vetralla .
I had just come back from the States and I was so happy to meet my two best friend Nathalie and Daniela(she gave me the first CD of Toto).
After the concert we went to Giorgio e Daniela's home to have some rest,
Talking with Giorgio about what he was doing at the moment,he described to me this great Idea!
He suddenly purposed me to collaborate at this project and How can I refuse??
I was so exited that the night after I dreamt of a girl underwater with rings of light around exactly as in the CD cover of TOTO IV of 1983
(the year of my birth).
I immediately called Giorgio and I told him my idea, he was excited too and so I started working on it... I hope you like the result! |
